Outside Retinal Specialists
-
Mark Gersman, M.D. and Milton James, M.D.
Dr. Gersman and Dr. James are retinal specialists from an
independent group, Vitreo-Retinal
Consultants, Inc. They are not actually members of The Eye MD's; they
are an independent group of consulting physicians who travel to our office
to provide retinal consultations. This service is provided for the convenience
of our patients, limiting the need for patient travel to receive specialist
care.
They have a special interest in Macular Degeneration, Diabetic
Eye Disease and Photodynamic
Therapy (a new treatment for Macular Degeneration). We are very pleased
to have the convenience of retinal consultants available for our patients.
